Brut de Chardonnay is Virant’s white sparkling wine. This cuvée was originally the result of in-depth research aimed at showcasing the full potential of using the Champagne method to vinify grapes from our Provençal vineyards. This bold venture quickly won over diners across the region thanks to its festive and intensely refreshing character.
Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, this wine undergoes rigorous cold pressing to produce the base wine, followed by a second fermentation in the bottle using the traditional method.
On the palate, one is delighted to discover generous aromas of exotic yellow fruits, the defining characteristic of this Brut. Its growing success is a testament to the revival and undisputed quality of Provence’s great sparkling wines.

Tasting advice
Served in a flute or champagne glass, this Brut delights with its unspoilt freshness. For a touch of originality and fizz, some enthusiasts also like to add a few drops to sangria.

As it is produced in very small batches, the Brut de Chardonnay is not entered into national competitions.
