Plus d'informations

The epitome of a fruity wine, our Rosé Gris is the result of meticulous craftsmanship, born of a perfect mastery of direct cold pressing. Originally created to meet the expectations of our customers seeking a delicate and light profile for an aperitif, it has now established itself as one of Virant’s flagship products, recognised throughout the region.

Often imitated but rarely equalled, this Provence wine is aimed at lovers of ‘pleasure-seeking’ rosés – very light in colour and highly aromatic. Particular attention paid to fermentation temperatures helps preserve the brilliance of its colour and the richness of its delicious aromas of yellow fruit and vanilla, making this rosé a sure-fire choice to share.

Pairing

Originally designed to accompany the finest Provençal aperitifs, this rosé wine also pairs beautifully with cold dishes, mixed salads, carpaccio and sushi.

To fully appreciate its lightness, intense freshness and delicate aromas, we recommend serving this grey rosé at 12 °C, ideally in pre-chilled glasses.

Having been committed to sustainable and responsible viticulture for many years — recognised by the High Environmental Value (HVE) label — Virant is now taking a new step forward with an ambitious agro-ecological transition, centred on restoring and maintaining soil life. Plant cover, limiting inputs, and encouraging natural beneficial organisms: every practice is designed to nurture the estate’s biodiversity and strengthen the natural balance of our 216 hectares of vineyards.

Rosé Gris boasts an impressive track record, particularly at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris, where it has recently been awarded a Gold Medal on three occasions: in 2017, 2025 (2024 vintage) and again in 2026 (2025 vintage). It was also awarded a Gold Medal in Aix-en-Provence in 2015, 2020 and 2025.
