Our Domaine Virant Chardonnay is crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Driven by the desire to introduce this noble grape variety in a uniquely Provençal expression, the owners planted young vines about a decade ago. Today, flourishing under a perfect local microclimate, they yield exceptional quality berries thanks to their South-Southeast exposure on arid hillsides.

As the only legal commercial framework to grow this grape in the region, the Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) label grants us the viticultural freedom and flexibility. The result is a truly distinctive Provence white wine, blending local authenticity with a surprising character.

Pairing

This white wine is delightful as an aperitif and serves as an excellent match for soft cheeses, shellfish dishes, white meats, and creamy risottos.

Tasting advice

To fully appreciate the elegance of its aromas and its round texture, we recommend serving this Provence Chardonnay chilled, ideally between 10°C and 12°C.
