The Virant Estate
Our estate lies in the heart of Provence, one of the most iconic landscapes of southern France.
Limestone hills, aromatic garrigue, olive groves and vineyards unfold between the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea, bathed in a clear, vibrant light that defines the character of the region.
Located within the Aix-en-Provence appellation area, Virant stands on land cultivated for olive oil and wine since antiquity. The limestone outcrop known as the Rocher de Virant - the Virant Rock, gives the estate its name.
All Virant wines and (most) oils come exclusively from grapes and olives grown on our own estate. This single-estate approach guarantees complete control over quality, from the cultivation of the trees to the final blend.
